Talk & Vision was enlisted to coordinate the activities between the network providers, install the systems and train the users. The solution is based on Polycom’s VSX 7000 series, using the plasma screens that were already installed in the conference rooms.
“It was [_] important for us to be able to meet with three offices at the same time, and possibly even with five, since we have the intention of installing videoconferencing systems in Germany and Belgium, too,” said Gerard van Medevoort, international office manager of HealthCity. “I use the technology as much as possible to save unnecessary travel time and fuel. I also think that videoconferencing is efficient and increases the efficiency of the organisation.”
Rutger Zeldenrijk, account manager at Talk & Vision, told II: “HealthCity is a fast-growing company. They requested our advice for a solution which would fit their current needs and [would also be] future-proof. The decision for Polycom equipment was made because of the reliability and its user-friendliness as a solution. As a video conference specialist, Talk & Vision assists HealthCity in the daily support and the expansion of their video conference network to their new European offices.”
