HK Audio’s FINEO loudspeaker series has been installed at Adieu, a Berlin bar and event space designed to transition between relaxed daytime service and livelier evening events including live jazz and DJ sets.
The installation was carried out by DTB Veranstaltungstechnik, an event technology specialist based near Berlin, which conducted detailed room calculations ahead of deployment to ensure full acoustic coverage across the venue’s open social areas and more intimate seating.
Christian Bruß, event project manager at DTB Veranstaltungstechnik, said: “Since we already worked extensively with HK Audio systems in the live sector, the FINEO range was a natural choice for this project. The system was very easy to install, thanks to the range of dedicated mounting accessories. Everything is well thought out – from the brackets to the coordination with the amplifiers. It’s a very user-friendly solution.”
FINEO is part of HK Audio’s installation portfolio and is designed to deliver consistent, evenly distributed coverage. The system’s compact form factor is intended to suit design-led interiors where aesthetic disruption needs to be minimised.
Julian Mathieu, owner of Adieu, added: “For daily business, it creates a wonderful atmosphere with perfect sound distribution. During our recent jazz concert, it delivered a focused, crystal-clear sound. There’s a huge difference between sound just coming from a corner and a room being fully immersed in a rich, balanced soundscape.”
