The opening of the multi-purpose Hill Hall centre in Yaroslavl coincides with the 1000th anniversary of the historic Russian city.

The opening of the multi-purpose Hill Hall centre in Yaroslavl coincides with the 1000th anniversary of the historic Russian city.

Combining bars, dancefloor, five billiard tables, bowling, the Gorka retro nightclub and a pitched roof that will be used for both skiing and summer concerts, Hill Hall features EAW components throughout, courtesy of an installation by Russian EAW distributor MS-Max.

Specific deployments include eight EAW KF730 line array loudspeakers, six ground-stacked BH760 subs, eight JFL210 compact line array sidefill hangs, six LA212 full-range speakers, three JFX100s, three MicroSubs, five SMS1990 surface mount speakers and multiple MicroWedges in the Gorka club. Power is provided by a host of amplifiers, including EAW CAZ Series models, while processing is handled by UX8800 and DX1208 DSPs.

The Bowling, Sports Bar and Billiards areas contain SB120 compact 12in subs along with SMS4990, SMS4, FR159 and CIS300 speakers. EAW CAZ series and DX1208 processing are again at the heart of the control set-up.

The city cafe, European restaurant, children’s playground and ski hill also feature extensive selections of EAW equipment, including CIS300, CIS400, SMS2990, SMS4 loudspeakers, CAZ amplifiers and DX1208 processing.
