The specification of DAS Aero line array equipment at the CSKA rink followed a successful earlier installation at the complex’s basketball arena. The Aero systems’ lightweight, install-friendly rigging systems and excellent performance are said to have been significant advantages in this latest project. A total of 16 powered Aero 38A systems, divided into three zones, provides uniform coverage throughout the rink.
Bossman also selected DAS equipment for another recent ice rink project at the new Skate Ring Mystichi complex (pictured) near Moscow. Inaugurated last October, the installation features 12 Compact 2 systems and 48 Aero 28A powered line array modules, augmented by two CA-215A units per cluster. Eight 218A 2K subwoofers handle extreme low-frequency reinforcement.
