BenQ has announced the launch of what it claims is the world’s first stand-alone DLP ultra-short-throw (short distance projector) – the BenQ MX880UST.
Expanding its short-throw projector series, the MX880UST brings an ultra-short-throw ratio of just 0.3:1, providing schools, colleges and universities with a 21st century alternative to learning, answering the growing worldwide demand for interactive whiteboards inside the classroom.
The main features include:
- Ultra-close projection distance to screen – almost shadow-free projection.
- DLP-enabled 3D projection
- USB display – USB connectivity makes BenQ’s new short-throw series easy and simple to set-up. With a USB cable, the best image presentation can be automatically detected and projected via simultaneous multiple presentations
- LAN control/display.
Specifically designed for the classroom, the MX880UST tackles the limitations of short distance projection bringing a 78in whiteboard-sized big picture in a mere projection distance of 0.48m. With 3D-ready projection, USB, LAN and wireless ports as well as LAN control networking capability, this adaptable projector works in almost any learning environment.
