Rise AV and Rise Broadcast have announced a joint event taking place on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at the Curzon Cinema, London – marking the first time the two organisations have collaborated on a shared gathering.
The event, which is expected to attract around 150 attendees, will bring together women and allies from across the AV, broadcast, media and technology sectors. The event runs from 4pm to 8pm and is supported by Vizrt and Diversified.
The programme opens with a keynote address from Suzie Cox, known as Gladiator Vogue, a motivational speaker and TV personality who draws on her background in competitive sport, television and motherhood. A panel discussion will follow, featuring participants from Rise’s Mentoring and Elevate Programmes sharing career insights and personal experiences gained through the organisations’ professional development initiatives.
This year’s International Women’s Day theme – “Give to Gain” – frames the event’s focus on mentoring, sponsorship and community support as drivers of long-term benefit for individuals, organisations and the wider industry. The formal programme will be followed by networking drinks.
Rise Broadcast was established just under a decade ago and delivers mentoring programmes across every global region. Rise AV launched in 2025, with a mission to support women working in or aspiring to enter the AV sector and to help address the industry’s ongoing skills shortage.
