Three themes for Panasonic

Panasonic Marketing Europe is focusing on a trio of key ‘technology themes’ at this year’s ISE – 3D display technology, eco credentials and professional projectors.

Returning for its sixth year, Panasonic is using ISE to announce the pricing and shipment numbers of its DZ110 3-chip DLP projector range. With 10,600 lumens of brightness, it’s designed for a wide range of rental and public display venues, including live events and auditoria.

Panasonic’s 152in plasma is showing 3D content in 4K resolution, while the 85in and 103in displays are exhibiting different uses and applications, including home cinema and prototype design.

Meanwhile, a dedicated Eco Corner outlines the steps Panasonic is taking to develop eco-friendly projectors and the background to its Carbon Offset Programme. The Offset for Life initiative for professional projectors allows customers to calculate their carbon footprint based on the number, and model, of projectors in operation, factoring in function and typical weekly usage.

Christian Sokcevic, general manager of marketing and sales for broadcast and projectors, commented: “Our eco credentials coupled with our cutting-edge projectors means we can help our customers meet their own CSR targets.”
