A Ruark Audio R4i music system, signed by all five members of Take That – Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald – has been auctioned for UK music charity Nordoff Robbins at its Silver Clef Awards.

A Ruark Audio R4i music system, signed by all five members of Take That – Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald – has been auctioned for UK music charity Nordoff Robbins at its Silver Clef Awards.

The system – signed during the Progress Live Tour of 2011 – came with a certificate of authenticity from the supergroup. It was among the lots at the auction at the Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards, which took place at the London Hilton, Park Lane on Friday 29 June. The auction raised more than £400,000 in total; also among the attractions was a Hofner bass guitar signed by Sir Paul McCartney, which went for £40,000.

Nordoff Robbins, the UK’s largest private provider of music therapy in the UK, gives individuals the ability and confidence to express themselves and communicate where they may have not been able to do so previously. Each year it helps thousands of people who suffer from a range of challenges including autism, dementia, mental health problems, stroke, brain injury, depression and in some cases life threatening or terminal illness.

Ruark Audio says that working with the inspiring national specialist UK music charity is a natural fit, as it underscores the company’s belief in the redemptive qualities of music through exceptional audio performance.

The R4i is a cominbed CD player, and DAB/FM radio with integrated iPod dock. The finish on the Take That model is Dream White.
