In Japan, Analog Way has appointed Kenji Sampei’s new Mix Wave company as its sole distributor. The appointment isn’t as risky as it sounds – Sampei had been working with the French manufacturer’s products for eight years with his previous employer, and is now looking after the brand exclusively after striking out on his own as a distributor and audiovisual consultant.
“We’re delighted to have the opportunity to introduce Analog Way’s exciting products to the Japanese market,” says Sampei. “Today’s world is rapidly changing, with technologies advancing at breathtaking speed. Analog Way’s philosophy is the same as our own, in that they are not afraid to innovate. We’re confident that their products will be very successful in Japan.”
Another new market for Analog Way is Indonesia, where AV solutions provider PT Digital Screen has assumed responsibility for the line. David Desbordes, managing director of Analog Way’s Asian subsidiary, says: “The PT Digital Screen team of Eddy Tjawinoto and Tjahjono Tedja are enthusiastic, motivated and very professional. They are already selling a range of pro-AV and home-cinema products including projection systems, screens and brackets, and will focus on providing good service and rapid availability of products.”
