RGB Communications is now distributing equipment from award-winning media server and projection screen manufacturer AV Stumpfl in the UK market.

The Austrian company designs and manufactures a range of high-performance mobile and installation projection screens as well as multi-display and show control systems.

“Since we do develop and manufacture premium quality products, we rely on premium level distribution partners who understand the products, their details and market potential,” said Fabian Stumpfl, project manager at AV Stumpfl. “We believe that RGB can provide extensive service and support for our products. In our perspective, business is a matter of the people involved in it, which is why we are looking forward to working together with the team at RGB’s in the UK market.”

RGB’s existing portfolio is made up of well known brands including Barco, Canon and NEC. According to the company, AVStumpfl fits perfectly within its projection and image processing division, working seamlessly with the other manufacturers’ products. Canon often uses AVStumpfl’s Wings media server with its projectors at events and exhibitions, most recently at ISE 2016.

Caroline Britt, managing director of RGB, commented: “AV Stumpfl fits perfectly within our business model and their focus and ethos is exactly what we look for in our manufacturers. All aspects of AV Stumpfl’s in-house design, manufacturing and engineering is at an extremely high standard and the quality of their products is flawless.”

All projection screens from RGB will now fall under four main categories: fixed frame, roll up, mobile and custom (which can include ultra-large format and curved screens).

“AV Stumpfl have a great reputation in the industry and I am thrilled to now be representing them,” said Andy Atwell, sales director of RGB Communications.

AVStumpfl’s stand at ISE 2016 featured the impressive, entirely white, virtually borderless 9m x 4.5m Curve screen. This is available in virtually any radius, quick to set up and dismount, and highly suitable for stunning projections in themed attractions, museums and other AV installations.

Mark Ryan, RGB’s technical manager, said: “I am really pleased to be working with the perfectionists who are AV Stumpfl, their premium quality components and especially engineered precision production tools ensure that they are constantly maintaining and improving their high quality standards.”

Among AV Stumpfl’s collection of awards are an Installation IBC 2015 Best of Show Award for the Wings Engine RAW media server and an ISE 2016 Best of Show Award from AV Technology for the ‘Fullwhite Curve’ custom curved screen.
