ViewSonic’s massive LED displays shine at ISE 2025

ViewSonic's ultra-large LDC Series of up to 760in displays revolutionises large-format digital signage by streamlining deployment and reducing operational complexity

An industry-first innovation, ViewSonic’s ultra-large LDC Series won an Installation Best of Show award at ISE 2025 and high praise from the judges. By blending the customisable flexibility of conventional LEDs with the all-in-one design and durability of Glue-on-Board (GOB) technology, the displays offer a premium large-screen experience of up to 760in in various aspect ratios and sizes with maximised installation convenience.

Judges’ comments
The LDC Series revolutionises large-format digital signage by streamlining deployment and reducing operational complexity. It is designed to make large-scale digital signage more accessible across business, commercial, and public spaces with minimal setup requirements.

The Installation judges commented: “There are impressive sustainability benefits. Reducing the energy consumption of displays, especially when part of large-scale deployments, is undoubtedly a priority for the sector at present. And the fact that this solution is explicitly oriented towards expansive deployments means it is well-positioned in the current market.”

Customisability & scalability
ViewSonic’s All-in-One LED display solution was born to offer hassle-free installation, operation, and maintenance. It enhances traditional LED displays by providing more flexible capabilities and broadening the adoption possibilities.

Dean Tsai, general manager of projector & LED display business unit at ViewSonic, said: “ViewSonic strives to incorporate advanced technology with pioneering product designs. The launch of the LDC Series marks a significant milestone in the industry, showcasing that flexibility, effortless installation, and ease of use can coexist in an ultra-large-format display.”

The customisable, slim, frameless LDC Series offers a wide range of sizes, aspect ratios, and shapes – for instance, a 414in display with a 21:9 ratio or a 378in display with a 16:9 ratio. It can reach up to a 760in screen size as a single unit and achieve even larger sizes when multiple units are combined. This flexibility enables the creation of unique configurations across various settings – whether assembling a two-floor tall video wall or crafting an eye-catching, flat arch-shaped display.

Harmonious integration
The all-in-one design integrates all essential systems – including power supply and control – into a single, compact control box. With its ultra-thin 31mm profile and direct wall-mount capability, the LDC Series achieves a total thickness of just 5.3cm, significantly slimmer than traditional LED displays that typically range from 20 to 40 cm. This streamlined form factor reduces installation time by 7-14 hours, minimising downtime by eliminating heavy back structures, complex routing, and costly renovations associated with conventional LED setups.

To enhance usability, the LDC Series offers two flexible control box options. The standard detachable version, conveniently placed at the bottom of the screen for instant access and management, while an alternative setup allows positioning up to 10 meters away for distanced operation. This adaptability proves especially valuable in corporate settings, where integration with Microsoft Teams Rooms kits can elevate hybrid meeting experiences.

Earlier this year, to further streamline installation and integration within pro AV infrastructures, ViewSonic introduced the world’s first Rack-Mount All-in-One Control Box. Its compact 4U design houses both power and control modules, ensuring compatibility with standard cabinets while reducing installation costs and manpower. When paired with the LDC Series, this innovative solution provides centralised connectivity and simplified IT operations, making it a tailored, versatile choice for diverse professional settings. Whether used for creative advertising signage in shopping malls, immersive backdrops in car showrooms, or impactful entrance displays, the LDC Series demonstrates exceptional adaptability.

Advancements for sustainability
With a remote control, built-in OS, and wireless content-sharing capabilities, the displays are also ideal for meeting rooms and multi-functional venues, while centralised LAN control simplifies management.

They are compatible with leading third-party device management systems to smooth management across multiple displays and address the operational challenges faced by IT administrators by enabling remote monitoring and real-time troubleshooting.

Designed for efficiency, the award-winning series also demonstrates ViewSonic’s commitment to sustainability by significantly reducing energy consumption and minimising logistical impact. A 163in All-in-One LED display consumes 270-470W/m², saving 50 percent more energy than traditional LEDs, with monthly electricity savings of $105-$175, reducing costs and environmental impact.

Five winners
The LDC Series was one of five ViewSonic products to win Best of Show awards at ISE 2025. Also winning in the “AV Technology” category, ViewSonic’s 3rd generation Foldable 138in All-in-One LED Display with a moveable stand offers high mobility.

Dean Tsai concluded: “We consistently focus on enhancing the overall user experience that exceeds expectations. Our comprehensive portfolio allows us to expand the business into the growing digital signage market, further indicating our dedication to proactively addressing our customers’ evolving needs with greater versatility.”

Beyond its LED innovations, ViewSonic’s interactive display solutions also gained recognition across different categories. Its 110in ViewBoard 4K Interactive Display earned honours in the “Tech & Learning” category; in the “AV Technology” category, the 92in ViewBoard 5K Interactive Display was recognised for its ability to boost collaboration efficiency. Finally, the 105in 5K Presentation Display was a winner in the “Digital Signage” category, and was recognised for its extra screen spaces for ads display.
