Tripleplay, White Light, Stampede, Visionect, DirectOut, AC Entertainment Technologies, Adamson, Audica and iMAGsystems are among the companies featured in our latest round-up of new partnership agreements and initiatives.

• After having worked together extensively within the Middle & Far East region since 2008, Ptarmigan Integration and White Light have joined forces to form Integrated Technical Production Services (ITPS). Based at Marina Plaza, Dubai Marina, the new company offers installations, technical support and technology to venues and projects across the GCC.

Ptarmigan is renowned for providing integration and system design to large-scale projects, while White Light is a technical solution specialist with huge purchasing power. Last year, WL was approached to work on the brand-new Warner Brothers Theme Park in Abu Dhabi and asked Ptarmigan to join forces on the project. WL and Ptarmigan subsequently decided to form ITPS, which will draw on each company’s strengths for future projects.

WL’s special projects director Simon Needle commented: “With ITPS, we will offer three areas of service: local service contracts, integration and installation along with the sale of equipment. Our aim is to offer the complete technical solutions to projects which encompasses all of these”.

Canna Gray, ITPS’ general manager, said: “We are really excited about this venture and how we can utilise both companies’ previous experience and skills to drive future projects. We will be offering a service that was previously unavailable in the UAE region and look forward to working with old clients and forming new relationships”.

• IPTV, digital signage and video streaming provider Tripleplay has signed up avt for sales, support and technical representation in Australia and New Zealand. avt has teams based throughout the region that can offer local pre-sales, training, service and support to Tripleplay’s end-user clients and integration partners. avt has strong experience in education, government and enterprise markets.

Tripleplay CEO Steve Rickless commented: “avt’s business is incredibly well aligned with our own, it works with our partners, delivers solutions in the industries we do, and through them we can achieve the national coverage that the regional market needs and deserves.”

DirectOut has appointed Start

">LP Systems to distribute its products on the Polish market. The company will represent DirectOut products on the Polish Market and also help customers with in-depth service and support. The LP Systems team consists of experts in the fields of complex radio, live and television installations as well as recording solutions.

“In the current era of remote productions, budget limitations, and increasing quality and reliability in radio, live and television productions, DirectOut products will be used heavily in the future,” said LP Systems managing director Paweł Mathia.

Stampede Presentation Products has become the official distributor for the Nordic region for JOAN, the e-ink door display and meeting room scheduling solution from Visionect.“There is a huge demand on the market for user friendly products within collaboration. JOAN makes the installation of a room booking solution so easy, thanks to it being simple to understand, energy efficient and wireless," said Tobias Wallster, vice president of Stampede Presentation Products, Nordic region.

Exertis customers can now purchase a wide range of products from leading commercial loudspeaker company Audica, via Exertis’ pro AV division, Exertis Medium. The deal covers supplying Audica’s micro and median series of controllers, amplifiers and speakers to specialist AV resellers. Audica products will also be available for customers of Exertis Unlimited within its Premium audio range.

Audica provides a range of audio solutions for commercial background music, corporate AV and audio communications for a wide range of industry sectors including retail outlets, restaurants, hotels, meeting rooms and museums.

Panamax, part of Core Brands, has appointed Montreal-based SFM to serve as a Canada distribution partner its custom installation and pro solutions. Steven Freytag, general manager of SFM’s custom installation division, commented: “Panamax perfectly complements our current product offering, which includes solutions from Sony, Luxul, and OmniMount – just to name a few.”

A.C. Entertainment Technologies has announced that it is working in partnership with well-known lighting industry figure Steve Warren to develop sales of Chroma-Q's lighting fixtures range, as the brand's exclusive dealer for the UK and Ireland. This partnership follows Warren’s new company, Lighting Distribution Consulting, recently being appointed by Chroma-Q to assist the development of its international sales and distribution channels outside North America.

Eighth Day Sound of Cleveland, Ohio has joined Adamson Systems Engineering’s sales network, on the back of significant installations at the corporate headquarters of a US-based Fortune 500 company and the University of Buffalo.

Jack Boessneck, executive vice president of Eighth Day Sound, said: “Every time we’ve invested in Adamson over the years, we’ve seen immediate and significant returns, and their recent developments like the new install-focused IS-Series have us excited to expand that trend from a sales perspective.”

• Australian video-over-IP innovator iMAGsystems has established a Thailand territory distribution agreement with Sound & Communications Co. Established in 1983, Sound & Communications has evolved from a small start-up company to Thailand’s premier AV distributor.

The iMAGsystems Lightning range of video-over-IP products uses AptoVision BlueRiver chipsets to deliver uncompressed, near-zero-latency video over standard IP networks.

Sound & Communications’ managing director, Thaweesak Thamsirisup, said: “We felt immediately comfortable with the iMAGsystems product range. We’ve already specified the Lightning system in an important command and control video wall project for the Thai government. iMAGsystems provided excellent product support in that instance.”
