DLC Dubai has assumed distribution responsibilities in the Middle East for the UK-based LED lighting manufacturer. The appointment follows an increased awareness of and interest in the i-Pix BB range across the region, along with its specification in major projects by prominent LDs such as Svend Pedersen and Mark Cunniffe.
As a result of the new deal, i-Pix products are now available across all continents. Established in 1993, DLC Dubai is offering the full i-Pix range – including the newly launched BB1 high power output, low power consumption fixture – for sale and rental. The company will also support all companies in the region that are using i-Pix products for shows, events, permanent and temporary installations, and those working on government projects.
DLC Dubai’s Lorraine Ludman commented: “i-Pix products came highly recommended by a number of the leading lighting designers with whom we work, so we were really keen on using and promoting them. The low power consumption is a definite bonus and they also have a great reputation for being robustly engineered and tough enough to withstand the rigours of touring.”

The BB range has already been seen in action on prestigious shows and presentations in the Middle East, and it was always part of our planned growth to have a strong representation there.”
The aforementioned BB1 is a Building Block system that gives lighting and visual designers the opportunity to configure lightsources as they wish. The series is designed around three basic components: a weatherproof (submersible) 15V fixture, a power disruption box and multiple rigging frames.
