TDMaverick has announced that, this year, the company will celebrate 20 years in business, having grown from a fledgling distributor with six employees to what Maverick claims is the largest audiovisual specialist in Europe, selling across 14 countries.
“I can hardly believe Maverick is celebrating 20 years of selling to the channel,” said Jon Sidwick, who has been with the business for 15 years and is today Maverick’s director of Europe (pictured). “I have been with the business for most of that time and it’s been great experience, watching the company grow and become the successful business it is today.”
“The journey has been a real roller coaster ride with some massive highs and one or two challenging lows,” he continued. “During this time we have built many long-standing partnerships across all areas of the business. Without these friendships, our success would not have been possible. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has purchased from us, supplied us and even competed with us, I feel privileged to have been able to work with you all.”
Looking ahead, Sidwick said that he expects Maverick to build on its achievements and strong relationships. “The next few years look very exciting for Maverick,” he concluded. “We are going to push ourselves hard to offer deeper levels of service, an expanded set of solutions and introduce the Maverick model across more countries. We will do this without compromising on our determination to make dealing with Maverick a really great and positive experience at both a personal and professional level. The first 20 years of Maverick has been fun. I look forward to being involved in more of the same and hope that our valued partners will continue to join us on our journey.”
