Loewe unveils world’s first integrated wireless 3D home cinema speaker system

With wireless connectivity and 3D audio engineering, Loewe’s 3D Orchestra IS speaker system is said to make it easier than ever before to customise the listening experience.

Electronics company Loewe has unveiled its new 3D Orchestra IS which is said to be the world’s first integrated wireless 3D home cinema speaker system.

The system uses a combination of the company’s innovative technologies such as active wireless speakers, spherical wave generation and automatic triangular measuring to produce 3D sound. This enables each speaker to emit sound in all directions, opening up freedom with the number of speakers, as well as the positioning of both speakers and audience within the room.

The TV acts as a command hub of a 3D Orchestra IS -based home cinema system, with the system being compatible with Loewe televisions (chassis SL 220 onwards, which includes the new Individual range). They feature integrated AV pre amplifiers and multichannel decoders for Dolby Digital and DTS. Networked with the Loewe 3D Orchestra IS, the TV speaker acts as the centre speaker and the entire system operates using the TV menu and a single remote control. The Loewe 3D Orchestra IS set includes, depending on the version chosen, two or four Loewe 3D Orchestra speakers, a Loewe 3D Orchestra subwoofer, the measuring microphone and the 3D Orchestra Controller module. This module is connected out of sight on the Audio Digital link on the back of the television set.
