ISE’s new recruits aim to continue event growth

Timothy Penn, managing director of AMX UK, Matt Teevan, international director of Da-Lite Screen Company, and Thierry Ollivier, sales manager of projectiondesign, are the new members, and are allowed to serve a two-year term.

They are replacing AC Ter Meulen, president of Mitsubishi Europe Benelux, Susanne Seidel, vice president of Sennheiser, and John Forney, vice president of Lutron, who’ve all just completed their time as board members.

Mike Blackman, managing director of ISE, said: “We pride ourselves on our willingness not just to listen to exhibitors and attendees, but to involve the industry, for whom we run this event, in our decision-making and strategy.

“Our board plays a key role in giving ISE direction and leadership. I would like to thank AC, Susanne and John for their years of service, and am delighted to welcome three such experienced and respected industry figures as Tim, Matt and Thierry to the board.”

Ian Morrish is another new member of ISE, who joins as a sales manager responsible for the UK, Benelux, Scandinavia and Latvia, along with the residential sector of the US market. He’s spent the last eight years working with CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) in the UK.

Morrish said: “Working with ISE will allow me to make the most of that knowledge [developed from his time at CEDIA], and I am really looking forward to helping the organisation’s fast-growing events move on to the next stage in their development.”

Dan Goldstein, formerly Editor of Installation Europe and The ISE Daily, is the final addition to ISE, and he’s in charge of running the company’s press office. He said: “I have enormous respect for the people who put these events together, and consider it a real privilege to be working with them to ensure ISE’s activities get the media attention they deserve.”

“With our three new board appointments, together with the recruitment of Ian and Dan, we feel we are well-placed to ensure ISE’s continued growth in the months and years to come – not just in our core Amsterdam event but in all our other areas of activity as well,” said Blackman.
