ISE exceeds expectations

Pre-registration alone suggests record-breaking activity in every category, with attendence slated to top the 10,000 mark. ISE officials have enhanced education and seminar offerings to accomodate surging attendee numbers, and promised no price increase for exhibitors rebooking next year.

“ISE has established itself as the place to be,” Mike Blackman, ISE MD, said. “The key point is that we want everyone here to do business – we want to ensure that.”

Supported by three separate partners – InfoComm, CEDIA, and NSCA – this unique trade event has something for everyone in the AV and systems integration inudstry. From higher education to residential electronics to commercial installation, manufacturers are showcasing premier products, and dealers are responding.

“Starting in Geneva three years ago, it was a real sales job getting traditional integrators into this show,” stated CEDIA’s Executive Director, Don Gilpin. “Now they are coming back, year after year, and more are joining. We are experiencing phenomenal growth in every dimension.”

Randal Lemke, PhD, InfoComm Executive Director, remarked: “Our main two goals when we started this show were to create a true European show and a true systems show, and we have accomplished those goals.

“We do need to bring more audio companies to the show, but we’ve already seen renewed interest in that sector, so it’s promising. We expect 10–15% growth next year, better returns. “This show is well-positioned for the future.”
