ISE has announced French visual artist Joanie Lemercier and curator Juliette Bibasse as keynote speakers for Spark 2027, taking place on February 3-4 in Hall 8 at Fira de Barcelona, Montjuïc, in Barcelona, Spain.
Held during Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2027, Spark represents the creative technology arm of the exhibition, providing a dedicated showcase for broadcast, live event staging, virtual production, immersive experiences and interactive media under the theme The Art of And.

The address by Lemercier and Bibasse on February 3 will focus on the convergence of light, architectural projection and digital spatial design. Lemercier, who co-founded the visual label AntiVJ in 2006, is a pioneer in architectural projection mapping, while Bibasse brings curatorial direction and production expertise across international light art festivals and public installations.
Their presentation follows the duo’s delivery of the sixth annual Casa Batlló façade mapping, an artistic commission scheduled for January 30–31, 2027. Co-created with Catalan composer and vocalist Maria Arnal and principally sponsored by ISE, the public installation projects large-scale visuals and synchronised compositions onto Antoni Gaudí’s architectural landmark.
The Spark conference is structured around two presentation environments: the Spark Arena, hosting headlining keynotes and technical debates on emerging production tools, and the free-to-attend Spark Forum, dedicated to practical demonstrations and case studies.
Mike Blackman, managing director at Integrated Systems Events, said: “The creative industries are evolving rapidly, with technology opening up new ways to tell stories, engage audiences and bring ideas to life. But it is the people who explore the possibilities and push creative boundaries who drive this progress. Spark provides a platform for these communities to connect, exchange ideas and inspire one another.”
