How many times have you attended ISE, and in what capacity?
AJA has been an ISE exhibitor for 12 years. During each show, we share new and field-proven solutions with the pro AV community, from our flexible baseband and IP video/audio interface and conversion technologies to digital video recording solutions and colour management, streaming and remote production tools. Our team is on the ground demonstrating technologies, talking to customers, partners and media, and surveying attendees on the changes they face and the trends they’re tracking.
Overall, how was ISE 2026 for you?
ISE was brilliant this year. Attendance was at an all-time high, surpassing 90,000 visitors, which meant a steady flow of traffic at our stand. Given the increasing convergence between broadcast and pro AV, we saw more professionals seek out solutions like ColorBox and BRIDGE LIVE to increase the quality of live and on-demand content they can create. With IP now becoming more of a requirement, many professionals were also drawn to our demos of the IP25-R Mini-Converter and KONA IP25 I/O card, which help bridge SDI infrastructure and SMPTE ST 2110 networks. We also saw strong interest in our UDC-4K up/down/cross converter, as 4K is becoming more prevalent across AV workflows, whether via cameras or displays.
Numbers were up again, so how was footfall for you, and what about the quality of leads?
Footfall was exceptional, and the lead quality was fantastic. We saw interest from all facets of the AV industry, including education, live events, enterprises, houses of worship and healthcare organisations. Notably, we were also approached by several corporations in search of broadcast-quality solutions for in-house studios they’re building. The corporate production market is growing rapidly and is certainly an area to watch. Many of these major corporate conferences are looking more like Hollywood-calibre productions, both on site and through the live event feeds they stream out.
Did you engage with the ISE Daily, either by reading it or by contributing editorially or promotionally?
The physical and digital editions of the ISE Daily remain an invaluable resource for attendees, as well as those who can’t make it to the show. The journalists brilliantly cover a lot of ground, given all the companies in attendance. They capture the newest technological innovations to hit the market while also providing insights from key industry leaders on the trends that are transforming the industry. We always enjoy reading it, talking to the editorial team from the show floor, and contributing our thoughts and predictions.
Is there anything you’d like to see improved at ISE in 2027?
For us, we welcome more attendees! We booked a larger space for our stand next year so we can meet this expected increase in new customers with engaging workflow demonstrations and valuable conversations.
