DirectOut will present a range of new products at IBC 2026, including ACE and USB.MADI, making their first appearance at a broadcast event alongside the company’s established PRODIGY and MAVEN platforms. ACE combines the processing power of the PRODIGY and MAVEN platforms in a compact, portable form factor, while USB.MADI provides a direct link between DirectOut MADI systems and computers.

At IBC2026, we’re introducing new features that reflect exactly this philosophy: giving our customers more power and flexibility from the systems they already own.”
The company will also introduce Sync To Stream, a new RAVENNA feature allowing RAV.IO and RAV.SRC.IO modules to synchronise directly to an incoming network stream rather than relying on PTP or external synchronisation, aimed at remote and distributed production environments where GPS access may be unavailable.
Claudio Becker-Foss, CTO of DirectOut, added: “Remote production has become an increasingly important topic in modern broadcast concepts. Sync To Stream comes to the rescue if GPS sync cannot be achieved, ensuring reliable network audio transport even when conventional synchronisation methods cannot be deployed.”
The feature will be offered as a licensed option.
DirectOut will also support NMOS BCP-008, an emerging standard for receiver status monitoring in ST 2110 environments, as part of Out-Of-Band functionality for PRODIGY Series and MAVEN.A equipped with RAV.IO modules, provided as part of the existing OOB licence. The company will participate in the Advanced Media Workflow Association’s dedicated showcase at the European Broadcasting Union stand in Hall 10.
