Finepoint Broadcast establishes AV demonstration facility in Central London

New facility provides customers with a permanent location that goes beyond short-duration trade exhibitions by being accessible whenever customers choose to call in

Finepoint Broadcast Ltd has established a Professional Audio-Visual demonstration suite at the London premises of its business partner, Colebrook Bosson Saunders (CBS).

Finepoint has been supplying broadcasters with a wide range of production and OB equipment since its establishment in the 1970s. The new facility is located at 35 Union Street, SE1 1SD, within walking distance of Waterloo and London Bridge railway stations.

“CBS is an international designer, manufacturer and distributor of award-winning ergonomic products,” says Finepoint Broadcast’s Professional AV sales manager Paul MacKenzie. “It stocks a very wide range of office furniture including desks, lighting, monitor mounts and video display screen enclosures, many of its own design. The company shares our values and aims to be the first to create innovative solutions that solve its clients’ technical requirements. CBS developed and marketed the world’s first flatscreen monitor arm. It also offers the world’s first dynamic monitor arm which supports weights from 0 to 9 kg.”

He continued: “This agreement provides both parties with a city-centre demonstration facility that goes beyond short-duration trade exhibitions by being accessible whenever customers choose to call in. The new suite is configured to demonstrate products from leading AV suppliers.”

These include Barco’s ClickShare wireless presentation systems, IDK AV distribution and control devices, Polycom conferencing and content sharing equipment, Zoom video collaboration solutions and a range of remotely controllable 1080p high definition pan/tilt/zoom cameras. Also on show will be a large interactive commercial grade LED 4K flat-panel screen designed for interactive team collaboration demonstrations and presentations.”
