Part of the pro-audio scene in Turkey for a quarter of a century, sound system supplier ATEMPO has also established a wider presence encompassing Russia, Ukraine and other countries during recent years.
Led by MD Mujdat Konuralp, ATEMPO has been selling systems from EVI Audio since 1998. As well as Turkey, Russia and Ukraine, the company is also active in Azerbaijan, North Cypress, Georgia, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. The company now has three branches and a grand total of 118 employees, among them 34 engineers.
Over the years, ATEMPO has supplied EV systems to a host of prestigious installation projects, including the 3,500-seater Istanbul Congress Center in Harbiye (pictured) and 600-capacity Muhsin Ertugrul Theater, both of which feature EV XLC systems. Most recently, at the 10,000-capacity Sinan Erdem Sports Dome, the company supplied EV loudspeakers and amplifiers.
Volkan Konuralp, ATEMPO’s regional director for Istanbul, commented: “Electro-Voice and DYNACORD are our flagships. We push both brands in all our various business lines. In fact, we have built our entire structure around them.

This gave us the solid foundation upon which our success has been built and allowed us to be permanently optimising and expanding our business.”
