Electrosonic to hold Technology Days at new facility in Newquay

Renowned AV integrator Electrosonic Electrosonic will be hosting a three-day ‘New Technology’ event later this month at its brand new facility in Newquay, Cornwall. Aimed at businesses in the south-west of the UK, the event will run from 22 to 24 September.

This three-day event will allow businesses to see demonstrations of the latest audiovisual, videoconferencing and collaboration tools and technologies on the market suitable for corporate, control room and medical environments.

Electrosonic says it is expecting a range of high-profile manufacturers to exhibit at the event. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience CTOUCH smart screens, and videoconferencing in the cloud solutions that enable enhanced collaboration over different locations. There will be a range of HD and 4K screens, control room display solutions, sharing tools and technology that allows users to connect, collect and share content through a single unit.

Confirmed suppliers to date include Christie, Samsung, Imago, Ashton Bentley, NEC, Medium, CTOUCH, Panasonic, Extron and AMX.

“This is the first time that we have held a technology event for the south-west region and we aim to provide visitors with an inspirational experience,” said Colin Lemmings, corporate solutions director at Electrosonic. “We hold many Technology Days across the country and every event gives our attendees the opportunity to see the latest technology on the market, discuss challenges and solutions with our experienced staff, and take away new ideas for the future.”

The new workplace comprises office and workshop space totalling 330sqm. David Roffey, Electrosonic’s technical resources manager commented: “We are very pleased to have moved to new premises in Newquay. With improved facilities, we will now be able to better meet the growing AV and collaboration system demands of the region.”

Electrosonic’s recent work in the south west region includes integration of a new large screen display and videowall system to enhance operations in Bristol Water’s control room; audiovisual design and integration at the new Stonehenge Visitor Centre, where a 360º virtual experience allows visitors to be immersed in the legend of the stones; and an on-site service contract at Torbay Hospital, involving medical simulation in their training academy.

Electrosonic’s Technology Days will be held at Unit 9, Indian Queens Trading Estate, from 22 to 24 September 2015 from 10:30 to 17:00 each day. This is a drop-in event, so attendees can come along anytime. Admittance is free of charge, but pre-registration is required.
