Ampetronic and Listen Technologies have appointed manufacturer’s representative firm to represent the companies across the Mid-Atlantic US, expanding regional sales and customer support for their assistive listening and accessible audio technologies.

Maryland-based SKMac will represent the companies’ full assistive listening portfolio, including hearing loop systems, ListenIR, ListenRF, ListenTALK and ListenWIFI, as well as Auri, the Auracast broadcast audio-based system developed by Ampetronic and Listen Technologies.
The appointment comes as the companies look to capitalise on growing interest in accessible audio, driven both by assistive listening requirements and demand from venues seeking to provide more inclusive listening experiences.
SKMac serves the pro audio, video, lighting and security markets across New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. The manufacturer’s representative firm has been operating for 100 years.
Stephen Robinson, Eastern US regional sales manager, Ampetronic | Listen Technologies, said: “New York City and the Mid-Atlantic territories drive assistive listening standards across the globe. SKMac brings a modern approach and the attention to detail necessary to support our valued customers and mutual growth throughout these important territories.”
Jason Drayer, principal at SKMac, said: “We are incredibly excited to be representing Listen Technologies in the Mid-Atlantic and New York Metro markets. Their reputation as a global leader in assistive listening technology aligns perfectly with our goal of partnering with best-in-class brands in commercial AVL. We look forward to years of shared success.”
