Ampetronic and Listen Technologies – two assistive listening brands operating under a single leadership team as part of the Allvida family of companies – have promoted Mikey Shaffer to vice president of North American sales.
Shaffer joined Listen Technologies in 2016 and has since held marketing, vertical markets and regional sales roles within the organisation. She was most recently senior director of sales for North America, a period the company says was marked by significant growth and operational development.
In her new role, she leads the North American sales teams and channel partners across both brands, with responsibility for revenue growth, market expansion and channel performance. She reports to Maile Keone, president and CEO of Ampetronic | Listen Technologies.
Shaffer is also an advocate for audio accessibility, regularly hosting webinars and working to raise industry awareness of ADA and global accessibility requirements relating to assistive listening. Prior to joining Listen Technologies, she worked with the deaf and hard of hearing community in Utah on telecommunications solutions.
The combined Ampetronic | Listen Technologies portfolio includes Auri, described as the world’s first Auracast broadcast audio-based assistive listening system, alongside ListenWIFI and ListenTALK.
