Commenting on the move, Robin van Meeuwen, UK managing director of Crestron, explains: “We have experienced significant growth in the last few years, and not just in the south of England. We felt it necessary to support our growing customer base by creating a permanent site serving the North of England, Ireland and Scotland. This new facility in Doncaster is a great step forward and is testament to the fact that we are a truly national concern.”
Crestron North is headed up by Sean Cleary, who has been at the forefront of developing Crestron’s expanding customer base in the area over the past 24 months.
The new northern base offers the full range of Crestron training courses, from system design to programming and installation. Full technical support is also provided from the Doncaster premises by Chris Jay, who joined the company in June 2005 with a proven installation background.
