UK-based CI distributor AWE has announced its expansion into a new facility in Epsom, Surrey. The company says the standalone HQ building will allow for increased stock handling and provide a comprehensive new space for its customers, suppliers and members of staff.
AWE has also unveiled a new corporate brand strategy encompassing a redesigned website and logo.
“The entire building is undergoing a full refurbishment and will incorporate better facilities for training, showcasing products and wider business development,” commented Stuart Tickle, managing director at AWE. “Asides from the increased warehouse space, by all being based under one roof, it will be a much better environment. The building has been called ‘Alexander House’, a family name taken from the founder of the company, my Great Grandfather, and my Grandfather who later took over.
“Alongside the move, we are also revamping our corporate branding and working on a completely new website. The current company logo is recognised by many in the industry, so redesigning it was a difficult decision to make. However, there are several advantages to the new branding and we feel that the time is now right to progress to the next phase of the company’s development.”
According to the company, the newly designed website will provide far improved functionality with a completely new stock checking and ordering system.
