ISE 2013 saw Analog Way launch its brand new web-based Remote Control Software (RCS), which is aimed at helping users create sophisticated presentations. The software was designed for the company’s new LiveCore platform-based systems. The software is described as intuitive and user-friendly, offering advanced monitoring resources and remote maintenance options.
The new web RCS was demonstrated on the brand new NeXtage 16 and SmartMatriX Ultra devices, which are also being launched at the show. It can be run from any computing system connected to the iunternet.
The web RCS offers a graphic interface containing 3 independent sections: settings, edition and live. A ‘wizard’ mode indicates how to configure the device step by step. With dynamic snapshots of the connected sources available in the interface, the intuitive dashboard allows operators to prepare shows and control them live during events.
Up to five operators per device can connect on the web RCS and work from different computing systems on different tasks simultaneously. Any operation is seen in real time by all the RCS users, thus ensuring effective preparation and monitoring.
