The 6th TiLEzone London seminar at the London Transport Museum drew record numbers of industry professionals from the world’s leisure attractions and museums industry.

The sold out event was opened by an Electrosonic-sponsored reception at the Museum of London to enable TiLEzone participants to network before the seminar. Designed to educate and inform, the event was organised by Andrich International with support from UK Trade & Investment. Exhibitors at the event included Blackbox AV, Dataton, Deep Visuals, In Hand Guides, Electrosonic and Expert Ticket.

“Our attendance was at full capacity and the audience learnt about the very latest technology for operators such as flexible screens, advances in mobile communications, gesture based multi-touch exhibits and powerful 3D and 4D presentations to impact and deepen and broaden the appeal of museums, visitor attractions and other leisure-based facilities,” said Richard Curtis, Andrich International MD.

An entertaining and informative presentation was given by Dr W M Chan regarding the 1.7 billion investment in the West Kowloon Cultural District Project alongside news of several upcoming international construction developments, with speakers addressing projects including the Brazil economy covering the World Cup 2014 and Olympics 2016, tourism projects in Singapore alongside Turkey, Russia, UK and Poland.

“With the help of the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) we will again be showcasing some leading examples and opportunities that exist around the world with a TiLEzone forum to be held in Florence, Italy during October 2011,” concluded Curtis. “Exact dates and location will be announced shortly.”

The date for the 7th TiLEzone is now confirmed as 7 March 2012. Details will follow in due course.
