Anna Valley triples the size of AV integration department

Anna Valley has completed an extensive recruitment drive that has tripled the size of its AV integration department in just six months, aiming to establish Anna Valley Integration as one of the most experienced fixed-installation teams in the UK.

Ian Benneyworth, Tom Lewis and Stuart Taylor have recently taken up senior roles as project managers.

Previously UK operations manager for Pixel Projects, Ian Benneyworth brings 15 years of experience in the corporate, education, retail and home automation AV sectors to the Anna Valley integration team. Having started in the industry as an engineer, he is passionate about maintaining high standards regardless of the project size.

Tom Lewis joins Anna Valley from AVMI where he was responsible for ensuring that visual solutions not only met the functional and creative requirements of the client, but that they also provided longevity, ease-of-use and reliability. Lewis is skilled at creating customised digital signage solutions and designing experiential installations for corporate and retail clients.

Prior to joining Anna Valley, Stuart Taylor spent a number of years at the McLaren Technology Group where he was responsible for setting up the group’s AV service department and designing and installing the McLaren Centre for Applied Performance conference facility. Taylor specialises in system design and project management of large and complex installations.

The recent recruitment drive has also focused on bringing additional technical skills to the AV integration team.

Dean Shipp is Anna Valley’s first CAD manager. He has over 15 years’ experience as a draughtsman in the AV industry, including positions at Electrosonic and AVI-SPL, and is an Autodesk certified professional. Shipp is responsible for developing the company’s computer-aided design standards and procedures as well as providing Anna Valley clients with professional project drawings that contain best-in-class engineering information.

Anna Valley’s new senior AV technician, Edgar Putans, is a qualified sound engineer who also has experience in 3D projection mapping and augmented reality. Putans previously worked at Pixel Projects as a project lead and trainer.

“When I joined Anna Valley in October 2015, the board committed to growing the AV integration team into a formidable department,” said Anna Valley integration director, Nick Shaw. “With these new appointments, and the internal transfer of senior LED experts from within the group, I’m confident that we’ve achieved this objective.”
