Creative video technology company Blackmagic Design has appointed A.C. Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) video division as an official UK dealer for its product range.
According to Blackmagic Design, AC-ET brings a plethora of knowledge and experience in the staging, rental, live production and broadcast sectors – all of which are key markets for Blackmagic Design’s extensive product catalogue.
Black Magic Design’s range of hardware and software products is designed to provide affordable, high quality editing workstation solutions. Products include hard disk recorders, input cards, production mixer/switchers, video and audio converters, monitoring and signal routing/distribution.
The DVI Extender allows the extension of DVI-D connections to computer monitors via SDI cables, making it easier to connect computer displays anywhere. Multiple monitors can be connected using any 3Gb/s SDI router, and the DVI Extender also functions as a regular DVI to SD/HD-SDI video converter.
The DeckLink Duo (pictured) is claimed to be ideal for editors and developers using two completely independent capture and playback streams in-and-out of a computer. It offers two SDI inputs and two SDI outputs plus a common tri-sync / black burst reference.
The VHUB/VS Smart Videohub is described as a versatile, feature-packed router with an inbuilt control panel, allowing users to change the routing at the push of a button. Smart Videohub is said to be easy to use and includes a 16 x 16 SDI matrix switcher, 3 Gb/s SDI auto SD/HD/3 Gb/s SDI, re-clocking, Ethernet, USB and serial router interfaces.
