Legrand | AV has expanded its existing partnership with Utelogy, enabling Luxul pro AV networking switches to be monitored and managed through the Utelogy cloud-based AV management platform. The integration, developed through the Utelligence Alliance Partner Program, is designed to give integrators and operators greater visibility of network infrastructure alongside AV devices within a single interface.
The move reflects the growing importance of networking in pro AV environments, where switches increasingly underpin AVoIP systems, collaboration spaces and connected devices. Legrand | AV said its Luxul managed switches are engineered specifically for commercial AV applications, delivering features such as Power over Ethernet (PoE), deterministic performance for latency-sensitive traffic and simplified management.
Through the new driver, available now in the Utelogy library, users can access real-time port monitoring, live PoE status, firmware management and diagnostics data including temperature, fan speeds, CPU load and uptime. The integration also supports Utelogy’s operational modes, allowing monitoring behaviour to be adapted during maintenance periods.
Steven Hoenig, senior director, portfolio expansion program management at Legrand | AV, said: “The network is no longer background infrastructure in a commercial AV environment. It’s part of the system. Supporting Utelogy means our customers can bring that networking layer into the cloud management workflow they’re already familiar with.”
The Luxul integration builds on an existing relationship between the two companies, which already includes support for Middle Atlantic power products and Vaddio conferencing systems, extending visibility across a broader range of AV infrastructure within Utelogy-managed deployments.
