ZetaDisplay has appointed Ian Brimer as country director and Simon Basford as operations manager for its UK business, as the company builds on its position as a digital signage provider across Europe.

Brimer will lead ZetaDisplay’s UK business, working with customers, partners and the wider European leadership team to strengthen the company’s position across transport, retail and retail media. He joins with a background in commercial growth, team development and digital transformation programmes across the transport sector, including experience integrating acquired businesses and standardising operations across multiple countries.
Basford will lead the company’s UK operations and project delivery capabilities, responsible for building and leading the delivery team to ensure projects are delivered to specification and commercial scope. Since joining, he has introduced new operational infrastructure and streamlined processes, and works closely with colleagues across Europe on technical infrastructure and service delivery.

Ian Brimer, country director at ZetaDisplay UK, said: “There are significant opportunities ahead, particularly within the rail sector where ZetaDisplay has already demonstrated its expertise delivering complex, mission-critical digital signage and commerce media solutions. Combined with our Engage Suite software platform, strong hardware partnerships and extensive experience remotely managing large-scale digital networks, we’re in a fantastic position to help transport operators modernise passenger communications.”
Daniel Nergård, CEO at ZetaDisplay, added that Brimer’s track record of building high-performing teams, integrating businesses and supporting sustainable growth made him “an excellent fit for ZetaDisplay as we continue to expand our UK business.”
ZetaDisplay provides strategic consultancy, creative services, software, managed services and technology expertise for digital signage across retail, public environments and workplaces.
