Four subs surface for international debut

Four subs are to make their international debut at ISE 2022, alongside a new visual signature for APG.

The APG iS series comprises three models with a 10in, 12in and 15in driver (respectively the iS110, iS112 and iS115). It replaces the SB series, with a wider bandwidth of bass. The range features round perforated grilles integrated into the enclosure as well as a number of functional insert points and accessories for wall mounting (iS110), overhead mounting (iS112 and iS115) and coupling with the iX range of installation loudspeakers.

Thanks to its optional mounting system, the iS115 subwoofer can be coupled with the iX12 loudspeaker. When coupled, the bass efficiency of these two loudspeakers allows the creation of compact clusters for environments such as nightclubs and small-to-medium sized concert venues.

To complement the iS range, APG is also showing the UC118i. Equipped with an 18in, bandpass loaded loudspeaker, this subwoofer complements the Uniline Compact range and the iX 12 and iX15 models. It also features a new APG EasyLink docking system that allows for easy clustering of up to three loudspeakers in either omni-directional or cardioid configurations.

Founded in 1978, APG is now part of Arbane Groupe, formed in 2020 with PA specialist Active Audio. The new branding draws on APG’s blue logo border, which will now act as an integrated logo on product grilles.
