Evoke Studios, an Estonia-headquartered company specialising in visual performance design technologies and content production for dynamic and virtual environments, has announced a strategic partnership with Malak XR Virtual Production Studios, a virtual production industry leader in Mexico.
This collaboration was officially launched to television and production companies during a recent three-day demo event and will leverage the latest virtual production technologies for the TV, film, and advertising production landscape.
By integrating advanced real-time engines and immersive digital environments, Evoke Studios and Malak Virtual Production Studios aim to enhance creative narrative, reduce production costs, and speed up the production process.
Key highlights of the partnership include the development of forward-thinking techniques that utilise the latest virtual production tools.
Chema Menendez, partner and head of creative workflows, Evoke Studios, said: “This partnership will enable creators to produce rich, visually stunning content with unparalleled creative freedom and flexibility. It also offers cost-effective solutions that, in many cases, significantly reduce the need for extensive physical sets and location shooting, leading to lower overall production costs.”
Urs Nyffenegger, partner and director of creative, added: “Today, virtual production technologies enable rapid changes to filmed environments through real-time visual effects. These can streamline the production process and reduce time from concept to screen. This partnership is not just about enhancing production capabilities in Mexico, it’s about transforming storytelling in TV, film, or any situation where video content is used. With Malak’s virtual production studio, we can bring imaginative and ambitious projects to life more creatively, efficiently, economically, and effectively than ever before.”
Monica Ruiz Salceda, founder and owner of Malak XR Virtual Production Studios, concluded: “Joining forces with Evoke Studios represents a significant step forward in our mission to innovate in the television and film production industries. Together, we are set to redefine what’s possible in television and film production, offering new opportunities for creativity and innovation that were previously unimaginable.”
