Absen announces “world’s largest” LED VP stage

Stage features a 270-degree curved LED screen with a diameter of 50m and a height of 12m, covering approximately 1,700 sqm

Absen has combined its display technologies with fellow Chinese company Versatile’s AI-powered virtual production base to create “the world’s largest monolithic LED virtual production stage”. The stage was unveiled at the grand opening of the Versatile AI Virtual Film Base and the AI Virtual Film Technology launch event in Deqing, China, on July 14.

Featuring a 270-degree curved LED screen with a diameter of 50m and a height of 12m, the stage boasts a total floor area of 5,000sqm, with the LED display covering approximately 1,700 sqm – the equivalent of four standard basketball courts.
