Return of the MA40

Two new models of the MA40 Mini Amplifier series are on show, and are shipping immediately post exhibition. Originally shown as development prototypes for the first time at ISE 2016, the new Cloud MA40F and MA40T Mini Amplifiers are squarely aimed at decentralised solutions and where requirements exist for adding additional audio zones to legacy installations.

The MA40F is a mini amplifier providing 40W output at 4 ohms (low impedance). It is fitted with a paging microphone input with access contacts, a useful 70/100V line input option, a further two line inputs and a facility port input option allowing connection of the LM-2 wall input module and the new Cloud BT-1F Bluetooth Audio Wireless input module.

The MA40F is powered via a 12-24V power supply and offers music mute functionality to allow simple connection to fire alarm and other interfaces. Cloud says this makes it highly flexible and suitable for use in visitor attractions including use in bus, tram and river tour
guide systems.

The MA40T offers identical features to the MA40F, but provides 100V output (25V, 70V and 100V) in place of the low-impedance output. The MA40F and MA40T are the first in a line of four MA40 mini amplifier models, with RS-232/Ethernet and Remote Level functionality being added to the lineup.

All Cloud products carry a commercial five-year warranty.
