AtlasIED’s public address and life safety communication systems are deployed across 24 of the 30 highest-rated airports in North America, according to the latest J.D. Power Airport Satisfaction Study.
The systems are installed in all ten top mega US airports, six of the top ten large airports and eight of the top ten medium airports recognised in the study, which measured passenger satisfaction using feedback from more than 30,000 travellers in the United States and Canada. The study assessed seven areas including ease of travel, trust, terminal facilities, airport staff and departure and arrival experience.
AtlasIED’s transportation portfolio integrates emergency notifications, flight announcements, multilingual messaging and speech intelligibility within a single scalable system, allowing airports to maintain consistent communication across terminals while meeting the operational needs of facilities of varying sizes.
John Goodrich, director of global installed systems at AtlasIED, said: “The air travel experience depends on clear, reliable communication. Airports require communication platforms that deliver exceptional speech intelligibility, support multilingual messaging, and can scale to meet the needs of facilities serving millions of travellers each year.”
Goodrich added: “We’re proud that so many of the airports recognised for delivering outstanding passenger experiences rely on AtlasIED technologies.”
