Seloy Live has announced that its SENSE interactive touch window is now being showcased within the Flux Innovation Lounge technology hub.
Partnering with Flux parent company Engage Works, the full-service creative tech agency, Seloy Live has supplied a SENSE window solution with a mobile phone retail application, utilised at ISE 2018 earlier this year.
Seloy Live’s SENSE embeds touch technology securely inside glass, enabling it to also function as a regular window when switched off. A combination of a transparent insulating glass unit and interactive touch functionality, SENSE is available in any size up to 3m x 6m for indoor and outdoor use, with ‘true zero’ bezels and a touch response rate of 5ms.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to partner with Engage Works, and for our unique SENSE solution to be demonstrated to the myriad visitors to the renowned Flux Innovation Lounge,” said Seloy Live COO Jukka Vänskä. “There’s nothing quite like SENSE on the market, and the retail sector in particular has already begun to show a huge interest in it. We’re rewriting the rulebook for interactive touch technology by supercharging glass – and now visitors to Flux in London can see what all the fuss is about.”
With interactivity secure within the glass – and customisable to work across some or all of the total available area – SENSE is protected from vandalism and weather, and can be washed just like a regular window. Thermal insulation, sound reduction, fire protection and theft resistance functionality are all supported by Seloy Live, and can all be built in to the design phase if required.
SENSE has been installed as the world’s first ever see-through, touch screen storefront in the Kalevala Jewellery flagship store in Helsinki, and was utilised as part of a high-tech immersive popup London event for the Paramount Pictures release of Ghost in the Shell last year.
