Saville signage for Bath Visitor Centre

Saville Audio Visual has supplied digital signage screens in the newly redesigned Bath Visitor Information Centre, one of busiest visitor centres in the country, welcoming around 535,000 visitors annually.

Saville Audio Visual has supplied digital signage screens in the newly redesigned Bath Visitor Information Centre. Located on the ground floor of Abbey Chambers alongside the spa town’s famous baths, the centre has become the second busiest in the country, welcoming around 535,000 visitors annually. The revamp aims to make the centre feel inviting and welcoming. It also provides functional improvements to increase ticket and retail sales as well as improving visitor flows during peak periods. The official unveiling was carried out by Minister for Tourism and Heritage, John Penrose MP. For Saville, the remit was to supply and install digital signage screens to provide visitors outside and inside the centre with added information about events in and around Bath, while at the same time providing the ability to offer advertising space to local businesses. Two daylight bright screens have been installed in the window displays and another screen is sited above the reception desk, with content delivered from three Cayin digital signage players. The original enquiry came from Bath Visitor Centre staff, who contacted Saville after seeing details of the installation carried out by the company at York Visitor Centre. David Jackson, head of marketing at Bath Tourism Plus said: “We are currently using the digital signage screens to display information about upcoming events and the services that we offer, which really helps to bring our new Visitor Information Centre to life. With screens facing the exterior as well as the interior, we are able to control and schedule our messaging to fit in line with the campaigns we are delivering throughout the year.” www.saville-av.com
