Digital Projection has revealed it will introduce two new products at ISE 2018, where the company will also celebrate 10 years at the show.
The manufacturer will preview the INSIGHT Dual Laser 8K, the world’s first 8K laser projector. The company will also expand its display solutions with the launch of the Radiance LED videowalls.
The INSIGHT Dual Laser 8K projector is set to be the world’s first commercially available DLP laser 8K projector. Providing 8K resolution (7,680 x 4,320) of 33 million pixels through 25,000 ANSI lumens of solid-state laser-phosphor illumination, the new flagship projector is suited to usage in the most elaborate medical, scientific and immersive visualisation and large venue applications.
Featuring MultiAxis orientation capability of portrait or landscape use and every angle in between, the INSIGHT Dual Laser 8K includes a multitude of optional high-performance lenses, ensuring it serves as a powerful and flexible imaging tool for venues. The new flagship product from Digital Projection is expected to ship in Q3 2018.
The INSIGHT Dual Laser 8K will be on stand alongside Digital Projection’s full spectrum of solid-state projectors from 1-Chip to 3-Chip DLP and with resolutions ranging from WUXGA up to 8K, including Digital Projection’s E-Vision Laser and HIGHlite Laser products.
Additionally, ISE 2018 will see the launch of Radiance LED, a new range of 120Hz and 3D capable Narrow Pixel Pitch (NPP) LED panels ranging from 1.26 to 2.53mm.
With four models to choose from (Radiance LED 1.2, 1.5, 1.9 and 2.5), the new Black SMD LED range offers up to 1,000 nits of brightness, a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a 120Hz refresh rate. With lifetime rated at 50,000 hours, Digital Projection’s new Radiance LED is built on a native 16:9 aspect ratio and is therefore able to achieve full HD 1080p imagery and UHD 4K, making it the ideal solution for various installations including retail, broadcast, command and control, visitor attraction, and house of worship.
