InfoComm 2018: InFocus to debut new Mondopads and projectors

Manufacturer to demo new devices across categories for collaboration displays, wireless presentation, projector, and distributed video networks.

InFocus has announced the debut of a wide-range of products designed for the conference room, classroom, enterprise, and home.

Products ranging from all-in-one displays, projectors, wireless presentation solutions, and distributed display wall systems will be demonstrated at the InFocus booth N1306 in North Hall, allowing attendees to preview future InFocus offerings in the commercial AV space this year.

A new array of Mondopad all-in-one display models is designed to address business needs across every market segment. The updated Mondopad solution lineup will offer a user-friendly design and interface, designed to enable businesses to work together more efficiently by collaborating visually, video conferencing, and capturing and sharing information to bridge information gaps.

The new Mondopad line comprises three models (Mondopad Ultra, Mondopad Launch, Mondopad Access), each of which will be available in 55, 65, 75, and 86-inch models as well as multi-touch 4K or 1080p anti-glare displays, later this year.

InFocus is also previewing three new solid-state illumination projectors, which will offer an accurate colour gamut, claimed to be 30 per cent wider than traditional projection, a bright visual equivalence, and 30,000-hour light source. There will be three models in the solid-state illumination projector line, including: the SPL1080HDUST, IN1186HD and   INL3148HD.

Available now, and being shown for the first time at InfoComm 2018, SimpleShare is a point-to-point presentation wireless connectivity solution for video, presentation, documents, and data sharing. SimpleShare is device-agnostic and a true cable replacement, to allow users to wirelessly share HD video and sound to any display with an HDMI input without requiring software, downloads, or network management. SimpleShare models include: SimpleShare (INA-SIMS1) for a small meeting room; SimpleShare Presentation System (INA-SIMPS1) – a complete conference room solution; and SimpleShare Touch Presentation System (INA-SIMINT1) supports up to three presenters with wireless touch control from a touch display panel.

Updated from the Jupiter PixelNet solution, PixelNet 2.0 makes its North American debut at InfoComm 2018. The distributed display wall system features uncompressed 4K video quality, native fibre, and audio support, and provides increased processing power with the ability to connect a virtually unlimited number of displays, video, and data sources, across a campus or around the world.
