Carousel Digital Signage integrates with Microsoft Power BI 

Integration allows users to collaborate on detailed business intelligence reports for corporate, retail and other professional environments

Carousel Digital Signage has announced the integration of its Carousel Cloud software with Microsoft’s Power BI; the AI-powered data visualisation toolset for enterprise businesses. The integration allows Carousel Cloud users to create and share business information across corporate digital signage networks.

Power BI is a business intelligence platform that allows users to customise data sets, and present detailed reports and dashboards across one or more company locations.

“Power BI is useful for businesses of any kind with a need to quickly and accurately model and visualise rich data that drive employee and customer engagement,” said Jennifer McCleary, director of engineering at Carousel Digital Signage. “We can now help businesses empower workers with the information they need to make quick, sensible business decisions, and share approved business data that is meaningful to public audiences. All users are assured a secure solution that aligns with Microsoft’s very stringent security standards, ensuring that all sensitive business information is thoroughly protected.”

The company said that retail businesses can benefit from integrating Power BI within their Carousel Cloud networks, allowing store managers to produce public dashboards on customer-facing displays to update shoppers on inventory, or provide customer service metrics around service desks and checkout lanes. Corporate retail offices can also share sales figures and sensitive data sets across private networks.
