Stage Audio Works has been appointed as an official distributor of Christie premium projectors and processors in South Africa. Operating from bases in Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg, Stage Audio Works will distribute the entire range of Christie projectors (which include the recently-launched LX505, pictured) and Spyder processors, addressing entertainment, retail & staging, AV integration, retail and other markets.
Christie is the latest addition to Stage Audio Works's Video Division distribution portfolio, which also includes Da-Lite Screens and Intelix Bauluns.
Shaun Xavier, who heads brand management at Stage Audio Works, commented: "We are proud to be associated with Christie as it fits perfectly in our turnkey product portfolio. We're excited about the possibilities and the complete range of visual solutions which we can now offer to clients in Africa and South Africa.
"We are a dynamic, innovative company who believe that service, support, training, professional products and attitude are the foundations for customer satisfaction and company growth."
Phil Lord, Christie's South Africa-based independent sales consultant, said that the manufacturer and Stage Audio Works had "already achieved some significant success" together, and highlighted strong demand in both the private and public sectors. "Stage Audio Works' proactive approach and philosophy fit very well with that of Christie," he added.
