Barco added a range of indoor and outdoor LCD-based advertisement kiosks to its visualisation portfolio at ISE 2014. The new series is designed for retail and advertising purposes and will expand from the initial 55in and 72in models, which are both available in indoor (LCD55ix) and outdoor (LCD72ox) versions.
Each model contains an integrated display panel, player hardware and content management software together with display management software features to improve reliability and to detect malfunctions quickly.
At the show Barco demonstrated how, now that it is able to offer a full portfolio of media products for public DOOH applications, its products can integrate together to share visual content interactively. Check out the video below to see this in action.

The Belgian company also showcased its complete range of corporate projectors which is made up of three families – Present, Collaborate and Impress. The Present range of one-chip DLP projectors consists of nine models ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 lumens. The three models in the Collaborate series are designed for multi-window displays, and so have resolutions from WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) to WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) to provide a larger pixel space. Finally, the Impress projector is a 3-chip DLP model offers high-quality, large-scale images with 8,300 lumens brightness and WUXGA resolution.
