Focusing on uses for Auracast, which Ampetronic describes as a new standard for ‘Bluetooth Low Energy Audio’ designed for assistive listening, the event will continue until October 13, with speakers now confirmed.
The ‘Audio Technology for the Future’ event’s speakers will outline the opportunities Auracast unlocks for venues and end-users in Japan and around the world.

Featured speakers:
- Henry Wong, director of market development at Bluetooth SIG, will present “Auracast – Audio Technology for the Future” and explain the new one-to-many broadcast audio technology.
- Ed Beck, business development manager at Ampetronic | Listen Technologies, will present “Auri and the Future of Audio Accessibility”.
- Martin Armstrong, president and general manager of GN Hearing Japan, will present “Auracast-Enabled Hearing Aids”.
- Masahiko Seki, senior network technical manager, Sony Corporation, will talk about “Auracast-Compatible Consumer Devices”.
Beck said: “It’s an honour to join this lineup of esteemed speakers whose organisations have embraced Auracast broadcast audio and are delivering products and solutions that incorporate this technology to help people hear and engage more fully with one another and the world around them.”
Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions after the presentations. They can also experience Auracast-enabled products and solutions first-hand.
Presentations will be delivered in English and Japanese. Interpretation services will be available.
