Audinate and Bose Professional will launch their AV Networking Roadshow – focusing on Dante technology – at InfoComm MEA in Dubai. The one-day sessions, titled ‘Introduction to AV Networking’, are being held on two consecutive days, 15 and 16 October, from 11:00 to 17:00. The events are sponsored by Bose Professional and Audinate, with support from Atterotech, Digital Audio Labs and Yamaha.
The InfoComm MEA roadshows kick off what will become a series of events to be held in multiple locations around the globe.
Intended for AV and IT professionals with a novice or intermediate understanding of AV networking, these sessions expose attendees to the current state of audio networking and control for AV systems, emerging technologies and trends in AV networking. The instructor-led training uses a variety of components from Bose and other participating manufacturers, and provides an opportunity to learn audio networking theory, design and implementation through interactive, hands-on sessions using Dante audio networking technology. Presenters include Kieran Walsh, senior technical solutions manager, Audinate; and Biju Abdul Majeed, design engineer, Bose Corporation. The sessions are eligible for InfoComm RU credits.
The following topics will be addressed:
• Connecting devices and routing audio over a Dante network
• Network switch configuration for various applications
• Working with IT managers to define network requirements
• Basic network troubleshooting
Lunch is provided at each session. Each day is limited to 50 places, and delegates can can enrol as part of their registration with the InfoComm Dubai show.
