Vivitek, a visual display brand for meeting spaces, has introduced the D8000Z Series of DLP HEP Large Venue Laser Projector. Features include HEP DMD, dual-laser technology and 4K+ resolution. Comprising three models – the DU8053Z (14,000 lumens), the DU8055Z (16,000 lumens) and the DK8155Z (15,000 lumens), the D8000Z Series is available immediately. Vivitek says it is ideal for professional and large-venue applications.
The higher contrast capability is delivered via an increased pixel size and tilt angle (from 12d to 14.5degree). The D8000Z series offers 4K+ resolution and is capable of matching the 16:10 aspect ratio required by both education and business customers.
Vivitek says the colour technology is supplied by its DLP, phosphor wheel and colour wheel, high contrast ratio, user controlled smart CCA + colour manager and a dynamic contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. Meanwhile, the product also contains a constant brightness mode.
The D8000Z series is designed with unlimited angles, including 360° rotation and portrait mode, which the company believes makes it ideal for projecting onto ceilings, walls, floors, or angled surfaces. In addition, the D8000Z series features a geometric correction function and edge-blending capabilities that allow multiple projectors to simultaneously project a combined image.
Users also benefit from a powered lens shift (horizontal/vertical), lens positioning memory and ViviCam, an auto-calibration tool for the setup process.
The D8000Z Series is WEEE Compliant (2012/19/EU), and it has ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 4500 certifications. Furthermore, it is also compliant with IP Code and it is IPX6 dust protected.
