InfoComm 2023: Ross Video launches “next-gen” meeting control system

"Broadcast quality" Quorum set to transform meetings and empower production, according to manufacturer

Ross Video has announced Quorum, a new meeting control system, which will be unveiled at InfoComm 2023 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando from June 14 to 16 (Booth 2009).

Quorum is said to represent a “significant leap forward” in meeting control technology. While originally conceived for legislative customers, Quorum is being promoted as an “ideal solution” for any production seeking an easy-to-use system for generating corporate meeting content or simple coverage, even with minimally experienced operators who may have little to no prior broadcast experience.

With Quorum’s intuitive interface, navigating the intricate controls of the broadcasting system has “never been easier”. Users gain the power to choose the most visually appealing angle, granting them “unparalleled control” over their broadcasting experience. Combined with broadcast quality graphics and switching, Quorum allows anyone to level up their meetings production.

With built-in security, user management, and an innovative user interface, Quorum empowers users to prepare and customise meetings at the touch of a button. Organisations can now align Quorum with their corporate IT policies, granting access only to authorised personnel who can fully harness the system’s potential.

“We took the exceptional operational experience of our previous product, Lightning, and completely reimagined it from the ground up,” explained Jack Horry, product manager for Quorum. “We incorporated the best technologies we have at Ross, resulting in a system with unrivalled potential.”

Shawn Snider, VP of production workflow, added: “Quorum not only boasts remarkable capabilities, but it also features a user-friendly interface that can be accessed through a web browser. By rewriting the product, we have ensured its seamless integration with modern systems and workflows that our customers have long been requesting.”
