HIVE, a specialist provider of compact media servers, has launched a Q-SYS Verified Plugin for its Beeblade media players, enabling integrators to control and monitor HIVE media playback directly within the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform.
The plugin integrates with Q-SYS Designer, the software used to configure and deploy Q-SYS control systems, giving users access to real-time player status, playback control and output monitoring from within a single interface. It supports the full range of HIVE Beeblade media players and is compatible with HIVE’s Beebox, Nucleus and Beehive enclosures.
The integration is designed to allow a single command within Q-SYS to trigger multiple actions simultaneously – such as powering displays, launching media playback and adjusting audio levels – and is intended primarily for fixed installations in museums, visitor attractions, corporate environments and public venues. Control and monitoring features include video preview, operational diagnostics, customisable drag-and-drop control interfaces and integration via exposed control pins.
The plugin has been awarded the Q-SYS Verified badge, confirming it has been tested and validated to operate reliably within the Q-SYS Ecosystem.
